While teaching you often ask pupils to answer a question, or explain something on the black- or whiteboard, or do something else. But how do you determine which pupil to select? There are many ways to do this. I often try to this as randomly as possible. To assist me I’ve created a small application. This will randomly select a pupil from a list and display the name of the pupil. Pupils think it is fun.
For now there’s only a Windows (x86) version of the application. You can download it here. Feel free to use it and give feedback if necessary. The application is also multilingual (at this moment only French, English and Dutch) and will select the appropriate language based on the language settings of your operating system. Contact me if you want to have it translated in your language. Send me the language name and the translation of the following sentences:
